I am the product of two schools one was Warna Vidya Mandir, Warnanagar and second was Kodoli High School, Kodoli. Warna Vidya mandir was a school of Warna Shikshan Mandal belongs to Warna Co-operative Sector. I completed my primary education from this school in the academic year 1974-75 and Mr. Raghunath Patil was the Headmaster who provided good education and leadership to the school. By nature he was truly honest and committed teacher. Patil sir came from the ZP scool of Satara District and he has a good human mind. He supported the academic activities and every year the school students got sucess in Scholarship examination of the fourth standard.This school was always ahead in the academic progress in those days.
Smt. Maltibai P. Gune was my one of my teachers at standard third and fourth. She gave me motivation and inspiration in the study. She was first teacher in my life who provided motivation in my life and encourage in academic interest. She promoted me for the hard work and honesty in the life. She realised my potential and directed me for concentration in the study. This advise became aim of my life later on. Smt. Gune madam passed in the September 2010.
I joined the Kodoli High School in 1977 in different background in my personal life. After compilation of primary education, I joined in Warna Vidaylay for fifth standard . This school is belongs to Warna Co-operative Sector where my father was one of the employ. This school has different structure and working style. The school timing was morning 8a.m. to 9p.m. Shri. S. M. Mahabalesherwala was Principal of the school who has background of Pars hi community. Truly , I am not happy with nature of the school and working style of the Principle. I am not a successful to achieved my best level and concentration on the study so after the academic year 1976-77, I moved in the new school namly Kodoli High school .
Kodoli is my birth place and this village gave me a first breathing in my life.The village kodoli is part of Kolhapur district. This village gave the second support in my life and provided the openness in thinking. My socialization were made in this village. My mother Pushppa and Mama Purshttam Kulkarni were the ex-students of this school.I enjoyed my learning process and completed my secondary education from this school.
Kodoli High School established in 1946 and it was run under the guidance of D. R. Patil who was the founder of the Kodoli Vibhag Shikshan Mandal. This school accepted each and every students who want and ready for the education. My school was always open for the all the students.The students from all near by the other villages also preferred this school.Nearly fifteen hundred students were Under study when I was passed out my S.S.C examination.
This school was bench mark in my personal life because this school provided shelter for my study and academic, social development. I got good teachers like B.T Awale and S. A. Apate in this school. They gave me knowledge, confidence and encouragement for my rest of life. I stand in my life because education from simple school and devoted teachers . My teachers are not teachers for me but they are also became a good friends for all my other friends.
I remembering all these good memory because above two schools made my life and provided positive energy for whole life. Now, above two schools are became the temples for me. I hope my all friends from these two schools are agree with my views.
